COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course objectives

Students will be acquainted with the basic knowledge of software Mathcad and use of this program for solving problems in reaction engineering.

Course enrolment requirements and entry competences required for the course

Enrolled in or passed the course Reaction Engineering

Learning outcomes expected at the level of the course (4 to 10 learning outcomes)

After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- calculate using Mathcad
- write a report for laboratory exercises in Mathcad
- find the best-fitting curve to a given set of experimental data (least squares method)
- use Mathcad for reactor design
